Rainy Day Barberry And Daylilies

I really enjoy taking pictures of my blooms after a rain. Everything feels so fresh and clean. The water droplets seem to enhance the colors and add a bit of sparkle.
The way the water gathers at the end of the barberry leaves is great! I learned about those thorns when helping a friend remove some dead landscape...thick leather gloves please. Very pretty though.

Just wanted to say that I love the photos, especially barberry in the rain! I agree with you and the rest, you can capture a different perspective with the raindrops.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I have to say the barberry's thorns keep me from growing it. It sure is a nice color though.
