Lavender
The scent of lavender is instantly soothing and has been used for it's calming effects for centuries. Lavender does well in a hot, dry, and sunny location with gravelly or sandy soil. That's why it does so well growing in Jenny's garden down by the shore.

Lavender Path
A fragrant lavender pathway in Jenny's garden.
You can only imagine the wonderful fragrance as you take a peek at this lavender pathway. The lavender grows very well at the shore. Maybe from a combination of heavy early morning dew, salt air, and periods of drought. It doesn't flourish half as well in my own garden, which tends to get a lot more water.I have received a couple of lavender sachets from this garden. The fragrance is beautiful!
