Beautiful Big Island

Chilling winds and frost added to the awe of this spectacular day on Big Island. Wooden breakwalls standing tall against the wind, lichen covered wooden posts standing strong in icy waters, and beauty everywhere just waiting to be discovered. Spring is just around the corner, although I can't quite feel it in the air on such a beautiful winter day. We are truly blessed.wharf

I stumbled on your blog and it is exquisite reflecting your love of all things natural! The blog was listed on Helen Yemms site and i am visiting her garden this spring so was reading up on her. I take small groups of women to England each May on garden tours. My website is
www.serendipitytraveler.com.
We spend summers in NS in Lunenburg and i have mostly a wild garden if you ever travel that way. Lovely to read your blog and admire the photos Chey.
Best
Peggy

Brrr, those pictures are quite chilling! I like the monochromatic look to them, it really adds to the atmosphere. Great photography!
Keep up the great work.

I love all that gnarly old sea-bitten wood. This is its season; nothing competes for our attention. Thanks.
