Wild Columbine Flower

columbine flowerWild columbine flower in Landsdowne at my parents country place. It's freely self seeding, and very resistant to disease. It's also slug resistant, of which my nursery obtained beautiful hybrids were not.

Great columbines, Chey! Mine are happily blooming and mutating themselves and the wild species (A. canadensis, the red flowered one) has just started flowering too. I hope it will make many pretty babies.
