I'm trying to decide which ones to keep, and which ones to cull (I don't really like this concept, but I know I will be overrun with daylilies if I don't start to reduce at some point).This daylily is the product of my first hybridizing attempt. There's something about it that I like, although it has an older form. I think I'll keep it around for a while.

Hemerocallis ~ Twins!

I'm a fan of the older forms. I think it's lovely, especially the color.
I love the colour too, so rich and sumptuous
I consider this lily a keeper. I love the edges and the color is so unique and deep.
About the questions/comments you left at Rosehaven Cottage...
Our little Lucy Maud IS named after L.M. Montgomery of PEI fame! L.M. is one of my favorite authors and little Lucy was an orphan very much like the characters that L.M. wrote about in her stories and books. The name just fit.
My blog header is a compilation piece that is a "painting" of sorts. I took a photograph of my Abraham Darby rose and digitally remastered it into a "painting".

Chey--what do you do with the culls? I have some over-run seeded beds that are out of hand cause I have trouble culling;) It just seems like murder doesn't it?

Anna~ I'm not quite sure.I'll either give them to friends if they're nice enough, or compost them. I've not done it before, and it will be difficult.You're right~ it feels like murder:(. Some are obviously not making the grade. For others I'm watching and waiting.
It is very beautiful - looks like a keeper to me. I really have learn more about daylilies.
